No. The InkPals case has no battery. It draws all the power it needs from the NFC field when you tap your phone against it.
Indefinitely. E-ink only uses power to change pixels — once your image is drawn, it stays put until you tap a new one.

Most images draw in 3–6 seconds depending on resolution and case panel.
Add friends by @username and push images straight to their case. They can also start groups so everyone sees the same image.
Groups let several people push the same image to all of their cases at once — great for trips, families, fan clubs, or just close friends.
Sharing is opt-in per friend or group. Transfers are encrypted, and we don't sell or train on your photos.
